I grabbed the travel wifi device really quickly with no hassle at all, the staff found my booking right away like they were already expecting me, and it was such an easy little start to the trip that I was in and out before I even had time to stress about anything...

I had to reach out to Travelwifi support because I wasn’t getting clear answers about my order. The replies eventually came through, but they were slow and, honestly... kind of felt like copy-and-paste responses instead of someone actually reading what I was asking.

They were polite, so I’ll give them that, but they didn’t really help much. I had to explain the same thing a few times and still ended up sorting most of it out myself. Not the worst experience ever, but... definitely frustrating.

"Canceling took longer than it should have"
Canceling was kind of a hassle. I figured it would take maybe 5 minutes, but it felt more like 20 or 30 with all the back and forth. Way more annoying than it needed to be.

"Good enough, but I wasn’t totally sold"
Used travelwifi for a quick trip and yeah, it mostly did the job. Device showed up on time, setup was easy, and the internet worked fine in most spots. It did get slow here and there though, which was a bit annoying when I actually needed it.
I wouldn’t say I felt ripped off or anything like that, just kinda wish the pricing and support info was more upfront. Might use it again if I had to, but tbh I’d go in with more realistic expectations next time

I dropped it off without any real hassle, and the refund showed up a few days later. Overall it was simple, though I was expecting the return instructions to be a little clearer.

"Refund process was confusing and frustrating"
I asked for a refund after my order didn’t work out, and the whole thing turned into weeks of chasing them. What made it more confusing was that the website seemed to say one thing about refunds, but support kept giving me vague updates like it was still being checked. Nothing really moved unless I emailed again. It felt like they were just hoping I’d give up. Really frustrating refund process, and I wouldn’t trust this company again

I used Travelwifi on a short trip and it worked fine most of the time, at least for what I needed. Maybe I chose the wrong plan or missed something, but it felt expensive for the amount of data I actually got. The data seemed to run out faster than I expected, and topping it up wasn’t exactly cheap either. If you’re only using it here and there, it’s probably okay, but I’d probably just look at a local SIM or eSIM next time. Not awful, just didn’t feel worth it for me

"Honestly, the speed surprised me"
I used this for about a week while traveling around Spain, and I was expecting it to be just okay. But the speed ended up being really solid. I was using Maps all the time, sending messages on WhatsApp, and even jumping on a couple of video calls without any real issues. Setup took me a minute to figure out, but nothing too annoying. Overall, it worked way better than I thought it would

"So frustrating when I needed it most"
I rented this pocket WiFi for my trip it was such a disappointment. The battery would die after just a few hours, the device got really hot, and it kept restarting right when I needed to use maps, which was incredibly stressful. Even in the city, the signal kept dropping. For the price, I really expected something reliable that would just work normally. I definitely wouldn’t rent it again.

It worked fine overall, but the data didn’t last as long as I thought it would. For the price, I expected a bit more, so I’d say it’s okay if you only need light use, but not the best value if you’re using data regularly.

I used Travelwifi during a two-week trip through Spain and Italy, it worked really well for me. The connection stayed steady most of the time, and I was able to use maps, send messages, and look things up even while riding trains. There was one spot where it slowed down for a bit, but it came back quickly. It was way less stressful than trying to swap SIM cards in each country. By the end of the trip, I was just really grateful I had it with me.

The WiFi ended up working okay once I finally got everything sorted, so there’s that. But the app/portal was such a hassle. It kept logging me out for no clear reason, the data balance didn’t update for hours, and I was just left guessing how much I had left, which was super helpful, obviously. I also had to retry my payment twice before it went through. The service itself wasn’t the worst, but the app made the whole experience way more stressful than it needed to be

I was having this random WiFi issue and was expecting to wait around for a while, but support replied within minutes. They walked me through it, it got fixed quickly, and yeah, I was kind of surprised how easy the whole thing ended up being. Happy with the help.

Getting it activated wasn’t exactly difficult, but it definitely took longer than I expected. The email instructions were polite enough and mostly okay, just not as clear as they could’ve been. I had to spend a bit of time figuring out what to do next, which was a little frustrating. It did work in the end, so I guess it was fine, but the process could be smoother
